I bought my IDP Printer from a third party supplier, not directly from IDP Americas, Inc. My supplier had told me my service contract was expired and couldnt help me, so I reached out to IDP America directly for technical support. I used the easily-accessible, user-friendly online chat feature to connect with Jaycee C. who provided the most exceptional customer service. Jaycee immediately understood my problem, had multiple well-informed ideas for solutions, showed a lot of patience when working with my organizations IT security setup, and was overall very friendly and understanding. Jaycee went above and beyond expectations and was able to get us an advance replacement within a week. This allowed us to continue badging employees without interruptions, which is paramount for the safety and security of our facility.
In my capacity as Desktop Support at a public utility, I was responsible for all of the computers and peripherals including several card printers. The card printers present were both the IDP Smart 50 and a couple of Zebra printers. I spent a lot of time on the Zebras because they were always problematic. The only issue the IDP printer had was they would eventually run out of consumables and the Security Department would forget to order replacement ribbons but that is no longer a fault of the printer. The IDP printer was and is a superior product. Some may recognize my name as I no longer am employed by that utility and am now the Help Desk Supervisor at IDP. I joined the winning team with a product I fully believe in and had experience with before joining IDP.
